I had the students make multiplication and division fact families. I used houses made of a bottom square and a top triangle. In the triangle they place the fact family numbers and in the bottom "house" they can write the facts in that number family.
I then created a bulletin board on the outside of the room with a Fact Family neighborhood with their fact family houses on a street and pictures of the kids' faces in scholl busses and cars on their way to school.
It's a fun activity for the kids and a great bulletin board.
