1. Break the class up into groups (or assign this project individually)
2. Have each group survey every student in the class by asking "Do you have any brothers or sisters?'
3. Keep a tally on the board of how many have brothers and sisters and those who do not.
4. Interpret the data by asking what question the data answered and how the results came out.
