Each student gets two colors of paper, one small, one big. In the small piece, students cut out crazy shapes. Be sure they save ALL of them. Glue the "leftover" piece of paper that all the cuts were made out of onto the bigger piece of paper. Then put all pieces back into the paper like a puzzle, but don't glue. Flip pieces over so they are touching the edge of the original paper they were cut from, then glue. When finished, all the cutouts will be a mirror image around the edge of the paper to the negative space left in the center of the paper.
