After explaining the formula for calculating the circumference (or perimeter) of a circle, head outside with some construction paper and bubble solution. The teacher should blow bubbles and the students should each take a piece of paper and catch a bubble on it. When the bubble pops, a circle will be formed. Using a ruler, have the students measure the diameter and then calculate the circumference.
