Collect photographs of faces from magazines. It works best if they're rather large, like full page adds, and front view. Cut the faces in half vertically. Glue each half to a separate piece of white paper, with the center of the nose in the center of the paper. Students draw the mirror image of the face on the other half of the paper, then color.
