Have the children make shape collages from pictures they cut out of old magazines. Get magazines with lots of pictures of things and not just people. Each child should chose a shape they are looking for (circle, square, hexagon) and find as many of the shapes as they can in the magazines. Cut out the shapes and glue them to a paper or poster board.
